2une In Previews: Louisiana Art and Science Museum hosting Dino Day this weekend
BATON ROUGE - Are you ready for a prehistoric adventure in the Capital region?
The Louisiana Art and Science Museum is bringing back its annual Dino Day, a full day of hands-on science exploration and fossil encounters.
The event includes interactive activities and planetarium experiences built around dinosaurs.
One of the highlights this year is a chance to meet a paleontologist and see "Jason," the museum's 66-million-year-old Triceratops skull, up close.
"Jason" has been on display in LASM's Solar System Gallery since 2016 and is on loan from Raising Cane's and the family of Todd Graves.
This year's Dino Day also marks 10 years of the Triceratops skull being a centerpiece of the museum.
