BATON ROUGE — East Baton Rouge Parish city and school leaders are getting ready for this year's "Battle on the Bluff" football jamboree.

Starting Thursday, 12 teams from across the Capital Area will participate in this year's high school football jamboree at Southern University's Mumford Stadium. 

Belaire and Broadmoor take the field first at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodlawn and Madison Prep will then play at 6:45 p.m., followed by Northeast and Tara at 8 p.m.

On Friday, Istrouma and McKinley will play at 6 p.m., followed by Scotlandville and Liberty at 7:15 p.m. and Glen Oaks and Capitol High at 8:30 p.m.
