BATON ROUGE — Two LSU players were injured following Saturday night's matchup against Ole Miss in Oxford. 

Tigers Dashawn Spears and Trey'Dez Green were both injured during Kiffin's return to Ole Miss, where he coached for six seasons before joining the Tigers this year. 

According to a report from CBS Sports, an MRI showed that Spears suffered a season-ending ACL injury during the game on Saturday. 

While Spears may be out for the season, Green is expected to be missing for an unspecified amount of time due to an apparent knee injury. 

Green's mother took to social media to thank fans for their support and provide an update, saying that while the MRI showed that nothing is torn, Green is currently suffering from some bad sprains and bruises.

Green is expected to miss a few games.
