MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Former LSU and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has signed with the Minnesota Vikings, with the Louisiana native set to join the Vikings' practice squad.

Beckham, who was recently released by the Giants after returning for a second stint with the New York team, was signed by the Vikings on Wednesday.

Beckham, a Louisiana native who played at LSU from 2011 to 2013, was initially drafted by the Giants in 2014, and he played for them until 2018. After this, he bounced around various teams, including stints at the Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins, before returning to the Giants in 2026.

The receiver's signing comes days before the Vikings game against the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome on Sunday at noon, bringing Beckham home to New Orleans, at least for the pro football matchup.
