ZACHARY, La. - Catholic senior running back and Florida State commit Jayden Miles just could not be stopped by the Zachary defense. Miles ran for six touchdowns, and the Bears picked up a 70-38 win over the Broncos.

It just seemed like every play led to a touchdown; Zachary running back Jeremey Patton racked up five touchdowns of his own in what was something of a seesaw battle between just him and Miles at certain points.

But Catholic's offense just couldn't be stopped; Bears quarterback Camden Estep found tight end Jude Chamberlain a couple of times through the air for two touchdowns as well.

This win is Catholic's third straight, with the last two both coming in district play against Liberty and Zachary. The Bears' next game is up against Central, and head into that game with a 2-0 district record.

Zachary's four-game winning streak has now been snapped. The Broncos face Woodlawn next week and are now 1-1 in district play.
