MAUREPAS — The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce celebrated the ribbon-cutting for Crown & Pearl in Maurepas on Monday.

Owner Lauri Lieux's apparel and gift shop sits off of La. 22 in Maurepas and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Lieux, who lost her husband to cancer, says she hopes that space in the shop can become a meeting place for fellow widows and women of faith.
