PONCHATOULA - A historic art gallery in Tangipahoa Parish is rebuilding following a fire in March. 

Twin Steeples Creative Arts Center said Thursday morning that the building's entire roof truss system has been replaced.

The repairs were necessary after lightning struck the center March 9, sparking a fire that closed the center indefinitely. 

Thursday, Twin Steeples announced that it has more repairs ahead, with the steeple and interior requiring updates. A tentative reopening date is expected to be released soon.
