ASCENSION - Leaders from the Ascension Chamber, Baton Rouge Area Chamber, the City of Gonzales and more are hosting the opening stop of the statewide Legislative Road Show on Wednesday at the Price LeBlanc PACE Center in Gonzales.

This kickoff event will feature House Speaker Phillip DeVillier, State Representative Tony Bacala, and other Louisiana House leaders as they highlight updates in key areas, including tax policy, state budget, insurance, transportation, crime and education. Local official like Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment and Gonzales Mayor Tim Riley will also attend.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a live question-and-answer session.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m. The program runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
