2 men accused of stealing AT&T copper wire from Holden arrested in Tangipahoa Parish
HOLDEN — Two men accused of stealing $10,000 worth of AT&T copper wire from James Chapel Road in Holden have been arrested.
According to Livingston Parish deputies, Emile Cardinale and Vincent Bonura stole the wire on Monday and Tuesday.
The pair were located at a home on Adam Road in Hammond with the help of the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. Detectives linked them to the thefts, finding several pounds of burned AT&T wire on the property and the tools that were used to cut the wire.
On Wednesday, the men were both booked as fugitives in Tangipahoa Parish on two counts each of felony theft and felony damage to critical infrastructure. The pair will face more charges in Livingston Parish.
