SHREVEPORT — Three juveniles were injured in a shooting near a Shreveport apartment complex's basketball court, police said.

The Monday evening shooting happened at the Olde Salem Village Apartments on Buncombe Road and left a 2-year-old injured with non-life-threatening injuries, a 17-year-old injured in unknown condition and a 13-year-old with life-threatening injuries.

Police said that an unknown suspect fired multiple shots toward the basketball court from a distance, striking the three juveniles.

"Someone knows who fired these shots. Someone saw something, heard something, or has information that could help detectives identify the person responsible," police said in a news release on Facebook.
