BATON ROUGE— The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge is relaunching the Talent Advancement Program, which is part of ACGBR’s broader effort to meet the growing demand for creative talent across Baton Rouge.

This program is designed for adults 18 and older and provides hands-on, professional training in video production. The TAP career track consists of 10 sessions and will be held at the Cary Saurage Community Arts Center.

Sessions will be taught by industry professional Christopher Jeansonne, who is a Baton Rouge-based video producer and creative director with over a decade of experience in the industry. His work spans commercial, corporate and documentary storytelling, with a client portfolio that includes Microsoft, LSU, Southern University, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, Louisiana Hot Sauce, BREC, DraftKings, Walk-On's and more.

Jeansonne's work has earned him three Golden ADDY Awards and recognition from the Brand Film Awards, celebrating his ability to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate across platforms.

"Video is everywhere. It’s how we connect, tell stories and shape culture,” Jeansonne said. “When we invest in local talent, we’re not just teaching a skill, we’re building up voices that can shape the creative future of this region and actually make a living doing it here at home.”

Plans are to expand TAP to address the needs of a larger marketplace. Applications opened Monday, and the deadline to apply is Nov. 6. Classes will begin on Nov. 14.
