UPDATE: THE BOIL ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED.

LIVINGSTON — Town officials issued a boil advisory for all Livingston residents after a water line ruptured Tuesday morning.

"Out of precaution we have issued a boil advisory for all Town of Livingston water customers. Samples are being delivered for testing," The Town of Livingston posted in a statement shared on Facebook.

Residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking, brushing teeth or food preparation for at least one full minute until the advisory is lifted.

This is a developing story; we will provide updates once the advisory is lifted.
