Communities impose curfews as Francine bears down on Louisiana

BATON ROUGE — A handful of communities have imposed curfews as Francine approaches the state, including:

Amite, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. until further notice
Covington, 4 p.m. Wednesday until further notice
Independence, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. until further notice
Lafourche Parish, until further notice
Livingston Parish, dusk to dawn
