DEA, Louisiana Blue hosting no-questions-asked Drug Take Back Day at BRPD HQ
BATON ROUGE — The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana are hosting a Drug Take Back Day this weekend.
The drive-through, twice-annual event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Baton Rouge Police Headquarters on Airline Highway.
The DEA and Louisiana Blue invited families to clean out their old, unused and unwanted prescription drugs or medications and turn them in for safe disposal, preventing them from being stolen, abused or taken by accident.
Drug Take Back Day is an anonymous event, and no questions will be asked, organizers said.
