BATON ROUGE — The family of 16-year-old Arnez Heard is asking for help finding the teen, who they say hasn't been seen in nearly two weeks.

Arnez's mother, Shaketa Heard, tells WBRZ that her son left their home in the Istrouma area on Oct. 16 and said he would return that evening. He has not been seen or heard from by family since.

Arnez now has braided hair, his mother said on Facebook. She asks anyone with information on her son's whereabouts to call Baton Rouge Police at (225) 620-9223 or her cell at (225) 620-9223.
