BATON ROUGE — Fathers On A Mission announced a new partnership with Baton Rouge General on Tuesday to bring the BRG Care on the Go Mobile Health Unit to FOAM's Baton Rouge location each month. 

Beginning on Thursday, the mobile health unit will be available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1120 Government Street, returning on the first Thursday of each month. 

The partnership will provide a consistent opportunity for fathers, families and members of the community to access health services. 

“Strengthening families requires us to look at the whole person,” said Levar Robinson, Founder and Executive Director of Fathers On A Mission. “If we want fathers to be present, engaged, and able to provide for their families, their health matters too. Through this partnership with Baton Rouge General, we are helping make healthcare more accessible by bringing services directly into the community.”
