ROSEDALE — A funeral home in Iberville Parish caught fire Monday evening.

The fire broke out at Schaffer Funeral Home in Rosedale. Sheriff Brett Stassi said it appears to have originated in the attic near the embalming room.

Photos show flames erupting from an upper-level window of the building.

According to Stassi, the fire is suspected to have been caused by lightning or an electrical issue.

No one was injured.
