KILLIAN — The Town of Killian has introduced two new members of the Killian Police Department, including a new chief.

Vicki Corkern has been named police chief, bringing more than 36 years of law enforcement experience to the role. 

The town also welcomed Officer Randall Kelley, who was sworn in on Sept. 22. Kelley has prior experience as a patrolman, detective and member of a Special Response Team.

WBRZ previously reported on Kelley when he was fired from the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office after he conducted a search at a home without a warrant.
