Law enforcement around the state announces Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign
FRANKLIN — Several sheriff's offices around the state announced their Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaigns on Monday, including the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office and the Patterson Police Department.
The campaign, taking place from Aug. 14 to Sept. 7, was created in partnership with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Gary Driskell, motorists can expect to see an increased deputy presence as they conduct targeted impaired-driving enforcement, working closely with neighboring local law enforcement partners.
