BAKER — Families in Baker gathered to learn about addiction and how to support others on their path to recovery.

In honor of National Recovery Month, city leaders held an event called "No Judgement Just Grace," teaching the most effective ways to respond to an overdose.

"I hope everybody thinks its awesome," one attendee said. "You know, we don't know that we need these resources until we're in the middle of an emergency."

Another speaker addressed the importance of reaching families where they are.

"Wherever families are, we try to make sure we prioritize that and spaces where we need to be as well," they said.

The event also included a seminar on how to administer Narcan.
