DONALDSONVILLE - Dump trucks will move along Highway 405 in Ascension Parish at a slower speed following changes from the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office. 

APSO said deputies have responded to many overturned dump trucks in the area. To avoid more incidents, the sheriff's office decided to lower the speed limit to 40 mph for dump trucks and add warning signs along the highway. 

On Wednesday morning, APSO and State Police met with mote than 100 drivers to talk about the new safety measures.
