TEAM 2 TRAFFIC: Vehicle fire shuts down eastbound lanes on Bonnet Carre Spillway
LAPLACE — I-10 eastbound along the Bonnet Carre Spillway is shut down for a vehicle fire.
Photos show large flames and smoke billowing from a car on the spillway.
State police said no injuries were reported.
The Department of Transportation and Development says congestion has reached three miles.
