TANGIPAHOA - Two people are dead and a teenager was injured in a shooting at Spruce Lane and Center Street in the village of Tangipahoa, according to officials.

Officials say an elderly person died as well as an 18-year-old. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said a teenager under 18 was also injured and their condition is unknown at this time. All three were men.

Tangipahoa deputies say the Tangipahoa Police Department received a call before 6 p.m., and while the investigation is still ongoing, no suspects are being sought at this time.
