BOGALUSA — The Walker High School Marine Corps JROTC Raider program has captured top honors at the All-Service Raider State Championship, bringing home the overall state title in the co-ed division.

Held in Bogalusa, the premier competition drew 28 of the top Raider teams from Louisiana, as well as squads traveling from Mississippi and Texas. Despite stiff interstate competition, Walker's cadet teams delivered standout performances across multiple events.

Walker’s A-Team secured the overall championship behind dominant finishes in endurance and tactical execution, placing first in both the 5K Team Run and the One-Rope Bridge. The squad also earned runner-up finishes in the Cross Country Rescue and the grueling Raider Gauntlet.

Walker High's B-Team added to the school’s medal count with a strong showing, bringing home three trophies of their own. The B-Team earned third place in the Raider Gauntlet and Physical Team Test , along with a fifth-place finish in the 5K Team Run.

Program leaders celebrated the cadets' dedication, highlighting that their hard work and discipline continue to pay dividends on the regional stage.
