BATON ROUGE — A meat market employee died in a botched robbery-turned-fatal shooting along Beechwood Drive early Wednesday morning, sources tell WBRZ.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner's Office said that they were notified of the shooting near the corner of Beechwood Drive and Sycamore Street around 5:30 a.m.
The shooting happened at City Town Meat Market #3, which was formerly known as Ragusa's Meat Market.
