LSU to face off against Baylor in Texas Bowl

BATON ROUGE - The LSU Tigers will take on the Baylor Bears in the Kinder's Texas Bowl on New Year's Eve.
The game will be at NRG Stadium in Houston and kickoff is at 2:30 p.m.
The bowl matchup will be the first meeting of Baylor and LSU since the 1985 Liberty Bowl. The two teams have met a total of 11 times and LSU leads the series 8-3.
Baylor is coached by Dave Aranda, LSU's former defensive coordinator, who has won six straight games to bring the Bears to a 8-4 record on the regular season.
