Ross Lynch speaks at LSU Delta Gamma ethics event

BATON ROUGE — Actor and musician Ross Lynch spoke at Louisiana State University's Delta Gamma Lectureship in Values and Ethics, sharing lessons from his career in entertainment.
The Gamma Zeta Chapter of Delta Gamma hosted the event at the Student Union Theater at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 16. Admission was free and open to the public.
Lynch is known for his role as Austin Moon in the Disney Channel series Austin & Ally. He has since built a career as an actor, musician and songwriter and is also a member of the band The Driver Era.
"The interesting thing about doing music that is different to acting is you're on your own clock and there's always the next song so there's always the potential that you're going to write the best song you've ever written and you could do it in a short amount of time," Lynch said.
Lynch spoke about authenticity, personal values and living with purpose.
The Delta Gamma Lectureship is a program held at LSU that brings in speakers to foster discussion on ethics and values across many fields.
