BATON ROUGE - A Baton Rouge attorney was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a contempt of court charge. 

Documents filed by 19th JDC Judge Collette Greggs say lawyer Sandra Page made disrespectful comments to the judge during court, failed to show up for hearings, and left during proceedings. 

Page is representing Christopher Golmond, who was arrested for second-degree murder in the 2020 killing of Deontre Phillip. Since 2024, Greggs has presided over his case. 

The document was submitted July 21, one day after Page was in court for a status conference on Golmond's behalf. It alleges that Page told the judge, "I have no idea what's going on in this case," and then said she had to go to another courtroom. Before leaving, Page reportedly gave a funeral program to a staff member and told them, "Give this to the Grinch," referring to Greggs. 

Greggs also alleges that Page missed 10 court dates since October 2025, delaying the proceedings. 

The Advocate reported that Page was ordered to a 24-hour stay in parish prison and to complete a mental health evaluation once she is released.
