BATON ROUGE — A 17-year-old was arrested after a fatal shooting on Plank Road, the Baton Rouge Police Department said.

Chad Hawkins, 53, was found dead in a parking lot with gunshot wounds on Aug. 6.

Police say Rocquial Hines, 17, admitted to his involvement in the shooting death of Hawkins. He was booked for first-degree murder, armed robbery and illegal use of weapons.
