Diocese of Baton Rouge announce partnership with prayer app
BATON ROUGE — The Diocese of Baton Rouge announced a partnership with a prayer and meditation app on Monday.
Hallow, an app designed to help guide people through prayer, will allow the Diocese to provide bishop-led reflections and resources through the app. The collaboration is part of the Diocese's efforts to form missionary disciples throughout the twelve civil parishes it serves.
"Prayer is the foundation of our relationship with Jesus Christ, and I am grateful for this partnership with Hallow, which will help the people of the Diocese of Baton Rouge encounter the Lord more deeply and build a lasting habit of daily prayer," Bishop Michael G. Duca said.
As part of the partnership, the Diocese of Baton Rouge will work with Hallow to promote prayer initiatives and encourage greater participation in local churches.
