Gov. Landry, Sheriff Gautreaux escorted out of PMAC after 'credible threat to LSU campus'
BATON ROUGE - Governor Jeff Landry and East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux were escorted out of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center due to a "credible threat" to the LSU campus, officials said.
Gautreaux said that the FBI had a "credible threat to campus... with no specific area."
Both men were at the PMAC for Skip Bertman's Celebration of Life. The two knew about the threat toward the end of the program, and security staff let them stay through it, according to officials.
