BATON ROUGE — The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry hired a new political director as it prepares for the next election cycle.
Jordan Riggs will lead the group's political and PAC work statewide, according to LABI. The organization said he will work with candidates, elected officials and members and guide LABI's work in legislative, statewide and local races.
LABI said Riggs also will oversee its four regional PACs: NorthPAC, SouthPAC, EastPAC and WestPAC.
Riggs brings more than a decade of experience in political campaigns, public affairs and strategic communications. Most recently, he worked as a digital and public affairs strategist for a public affairs firm based in New York and supported advocacy and public affairs campaigns.
