KNOXVILLE, Tennessee - LSU Baseball loses the series to Tennessee by dropping game two 3-1.

LSU scored their only run in the second inning when the Tigers had runners on first and second, and Steven Milam hit a sacrifice bunt that was over thrown to first which advanced all runners and Michael Braswell III reached home plate on the error.

Tennessee would not score until the bottom of the sixth inning off of a 2 RBI single, and then a home run later in the eighth would give the Volunteers a 3-1 lead that LSU did not have an answer to.

LSU has now lost their fifth straight SEC series and fall to 22-14 on the year and 3-11 in conference play.

The Tigers will try to avoid the sweep on Sunday at 2 p.m.
