Pointe-Marie in Baton Rouge expands with larger homesites, new ponds and green spaces
BATON ROUGE — The Pointe-Marie neighborhood along River Road announced the launch of Phase III of its Village Estates District.
The 120-acre development was built around Louisiana small-town character, a spokesperson said, featuring brick pavers, street trees, pocket parks and coastal architectural designs woven throughout.
According to development representatives, more than 120 homesites have been sold across earlier phases with home designs aimed at "families, empty nesters and professionals."
Phase III is now pre-selling and sits on the northern side of the neighborhood. It features 59 larger homes, three large ponds and new green spaces.
Co-founder Randy Guillaume said construction is underway and expected to wrap toward the end of the year.
Other neighborhood amenities include Pointe-Marie Square, a pool with cabanas, parks, playgrounds, a community garden and a dog park. The community hosts year-round events including live music, outdoor markets and seasonal celebrations.
