HAMMOND - Northbound lanes of Interstate 55 in Hammond near the exit to Interstate 12 closed following a crash Thursday afternoon. 

Tangipahoa Parish 911 said an 18-wheeler overturned at Exit 29A, which is the exit for I-12 East, shortly before 2:45 p.m. 

The roadway is closed as first responders work. No information about the wreck has been released.
