Dixon Correctional employee arrested, fired after allegedly groping inmate
JACKSON, La. - A Dixon Correctional Institute employee was arrested and fired after allegedly groping an inmate, arrest documents say.
Jermaine Granger was arrested for sexual battery and malfeasance in office - sexual conduct, according to officials.
Arrest documents say security footage showed Granger inappropriately touching an inmate's groin area.

Granger bonded out of East Feliciana Prison on Aug. 19 on a $65,000 bond. The Department of Corrections confirmed he was fired following the arrest.
